📖 The 7 Audience Doors

🧬 The Four-Model Psyche

JEPA is the id — gestalt, embodied, spatial, fast. Embeddings are the muscle memory — trajectory-shaped (dμ, not μ), sub-logic shaping, retrieval as instinct. LLM is the ego — verbal, analytical, communicable, slow. JEV is the superego — constrained, principled, schema-bound, decision-oriented.

Quilt cells use all four. The tangent insight: a curve is not in any one point; it is in the direction of travel. Models act as STAGE not consciousness; the data plays its own ideas for decision-making.

⚡ The Lightning-Thunder Framework

You see the flash of lightning. You hear the thunder N seconds later. The direction is given by the flash. The distance is given by the time difference.

JEPA = the flash. One forward pass through the world model gives you a direction without needing to count anything.

JEV = the thunder. It gives you the calibrated yes/no probability that the world really is at that distance — in 150ms, in a single call, with a schema you define.

LLM = the verbal report. It tells you what to do about it, in language humans can read.

Embeddings = the muscle memory. The trajectory-shape of past lightning-thunder events, retrieved as instinct.

JEPA over many iterations can correlate the real distance to the time delay. JEV gives the superego to the id (JEPA) and ego (LLM). Without JEV, JEPA is hallucination-prone. Without JEPA, JEV is rigid. Together they form a complete agent psyche.
