The Quilt cell model lives in 12+ languages. Each port is a medium. The same cell, expressed differently, is a stress test of the minimality.
The same model, in many languages, IS a stress test. The cell model is minimal if it can be expressed faithfully in many media. If a language can carry it, the model is real.
The polyformalism test: encode a cell in N languages, hash the result, verify the hashes match. If they do, the model is medium-independent.
Edit any field. The cell is rendered in every language simultaneously. Hashes should match if you've kept the model medium-independent.
Each language IS the same cell. The medium is the stress test.
Every encoding hashes back to the canonical SHA-256 of the canonical cell. They should match.
